Arkan Ball is a breakout style game with a space theme. It strongly resembles Ricochet, another Arkanoid-type game.
In Arkan Ball you drive a spaceship which throws balls at the bricks that stand in front of it. The ball will bounce off the bricks, while destroying them, and you must avoid missing the bouncing balls (by making them bounce against your starship’s bat), because if you miss three of them, the game will be over.
Some bricks, when vanishing, will release power-ups that you will want to catch in order to help you going through the game (they will make your bat bigger, give you multiple balls, turn a regular ball into a fireball, install lasers in your spaceship that you can use to destroy bricks, etc.). Some bricks will release power-downs that you will want to avoid, such as the one that shrinks your bat.
While going from level to level, the game will become more complicated. Some bricks will need to be hit more than once to be destroyed, some will be destroyed only with a fireball, and some enemy spaceships will appear, which you need to destroy to get to the next level.
